Broomfield Care welcomes our newest care worker Sam Potter – pictured above
“Hi, my name is Sam Potter and I am new to Broomfield Care! I am a wife and mum of three and I work around my family as they are the most important thing to me.
I have previously worked in retail for a large supermarket chain, and I am new to care work, but very eager to learn and help the service users. I have been training for 4 weeks and have had some good feedback and met some lovely people!
I live in Tuffley and I am discovering that there are plenty of areas of Gloucester that I don’t know at all!
Thanks to Vicky for giving me this opportunity and hopefully see you all soon. I am Beginning to think I have wasted an awful lot of time in the wrong job as this feels so right”
Vicky added “Sam came for the interview looking for a career change, wanting to do something ‘more meaningful’. Sam has had personal experience of providing care for a loved one, but not in a professional capacity. Sam arrives with great inter-personal skills, which are easily transferable in this role. Sam has demonstrated she is a quick learner, and a capable and committed staff member, and is already proving a valuable addition to our team.”
Welcome aboard Sam!
