I would like to thank everyone that we support as well as families, neighbours and friends, for all of your patience throughout this Summer.

This Summer we have seen a level of disruption , like no other time since the pandemic began. We have had staff needing to self isolate, people being ‘pinged’ on top of what is always the hardest time of the year; the Summer holidays. The result of which has meant that sometimes the rota has not always been finalised, visits being changed at the last minute and all staff working hard to plug the gaps! This constant change has been
unprecedented and out of our control.

Our aim this Winter is to keep all staff and Service Users safe, so we will be using Government Guidelines as well as our own policy and procedures of what we feel is ‘safe’ which is implementing stricter policies for our Staff and Service Users.

The Winter is going to be ‘unchartered waters’ (again) and will bring different pressures, but rest assured we will all be doing our best and doing it with a smile 🙂

Care Manager
Broomfield Care
Gloucester
Sarah our New Care Manager

We are pleased to inform you
that we have a New Care
Manager – Welcome to
Broomfield Care Sarah 😊
Sarah joined the company at
the end of February and
after only being with us a
short time has settled in so
well. She is firm favourite
with us all and we look
forward to seeing her
flourish in her new role
within the company.

“I am Sarah and I am the Care Manager for Broomfield Care. I have
been working in the care sector since 2009 and have experience in
many aspects of healthcare such as Dementia care, End of Life
care, Complex care needs, Acquired Brain Injury, Cancer and lifelimiting illness treatment and Elderly care.

I am passionate about working with people to increase independence and enable people to remain in their own homes for as long as they can!

As well as working in the healthcare sector I am also an
experienced Recruiter! Part of my role with Broomfield Care is to
support the recruitment and growth of the team as we continue
to provide high standard care in the community.
I am looking forward to the variety that my role has and am really
enjoying it already! I love that we have a fantastic team here of
caring, kind and supportive staff and I am excited to see it grow
and thrive to continue looking after people in their own homes.”
