£22,000 – £27,000 depending on skills and experience.

9am – 5pm Monday to Friday – office based

We are looking for a Care Coordinator to join our successful team in Gloucester providing outstanding care to individuals throughout the local area.

The Care Coordinator will be working closely with the Care Manager and Deputy Manager to provide a safe, legal and ethical practice of the day to day care function of the business. You will also be working alongside our Field Care Supervisor, Maintaining Excellence Lead and Support Workers – all being supported by our incredible Administration team to promote independent and quality care.

The successful Care Coordinator will be expected to complete tasks including but not limited to:

  • Rota Coordination and the allocation of visits to both service users and staff.
  • Manage a database of service users and highlight to the Deputy Manager and Field Care Supervisor when tasks such as reviews, care plans and risk assessments require an update.
  • Dealing with urgent care needs, sickness cover, the affect on the rota and re-allocating staff accordingly during business hours.
  • Opportunity to pick up ‘on-call’ and support visits if wanting to boost income.

The ideal Care Coordinator will:

  • Attention to detail and methodical and have a can-do attitude and a good sense of humour.
  • Have a solid understanding of care planning and how these are implemented
  • Must be willing to undertake DBS checking.
  • Must have a full driving licence and use of vehicle for work purposes
