After discussions and approval from Dennis’ daughter it was agreed that Broomfield Care could arrange a night out with Dennis 😃
Here is a snippet of how they got on 😊 ………………..
Dennis and our Field Care Supervisor, Holly had built a good rapport with each other since Dennis started his care package with Broomfield Care nearly one year ago. Holly visited Dennis often and expressed how much of a pleasure it was getting to know Dennis and he often said how much he liked comedy and used to do it himself.
The show was booked for Holly and Dennis and Holly showed him some video clips of previous comedy acts that had performed there and he wrote the event on his calendar. Each time Dennis was visited prior to the event he spoke about it a lot, he was so looking forward to it.
Holly and Dennis began the night by having fish and chips down at the docks and then proceeded onto the Guildhall where Dennis enjoyed a refreshing pint of Guiness and was also eyeing up all the other beers 😉!
Dennis enjoyed the evening tremendously and Holly received the most heart-warming card and flowers from him a few days later ! 🙂
