“My elderly Aunt, who lived in Shurdington, was very independent. She loved her home in which she had lived for about 40 years. She had had a healthy life, but at the age of 92 she started to decline rapidly, and could no longer look after herself. She was determined to stay in her own home. I discovered Broomfield on this website and talked to the Care Manager – an excellent decision. Broomfield put in place a care plan, and we adjusted this as my Aunt’s needs grew steadily greater. The Broomfield carers were superb – friendly, supportive, efficient, thoughtful, reliable, and supremely professional. They communicated exceptionally well with my Aunt who grew very fond of them, with the NHS staff involved, and with me as Next of Kin. They were with her at her very end, and I am eternally grateful to them. My only regret is that my Aunt and I didn’t talk to Broomfield a couple of years before her decline set in. I’m sure she would have benefited hugely from their service.”

“My Aunt aged 98 was a very independent, determined lady and it took a lot of persuasion to convince her the time had come to benefit from professional home care. Living in Australia it was necessary for us to make numerous internet enquiries and telephone calls to seek the appropriate care. Fortunately, we came across Broomfield who impressed us at being professional, caring and extremely helpful. Despite being in Australia, Broomfield dealt competently with every aspect of the care needed and kept us fully informed of all developments. In view of my Aunt’s very poor health, it was necessary to phone almost daily for updates and Broomfield were always available to talk things through. Broomfield made early morning visits to my Aunt and she often mentioned the friendly chats she had with her carers which quickly became the highlight of her day.
