Our Story
With a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years, Vicky Hall is the proud owner of Broomfield Care in Gloucester. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to various caregiving roles, making a difference in the lives of those in need. Vicky has provided unwavering support to vulnerable adults and children, as well as offering her assistance in homes for the elderly and individuals with learning disabilities.
In early 2008, Vicky founded Broomfield Care after witnessing her Grandmother’s increasing need for extra assistance. Faced with the task of arranging home care, Vicky encountered a frustrating challenge – she couldn’t find an agency that met her exact standards of exceptional care, provided by compassionate and devoted professionals.
Determined to ensure that everyone received the support they deserved, Vicky made the bold decision to establish her own business dedicated to providing compassionate care for others. Vicky named the company Broomfield Care, in honour of her Grandmother, and the quaint Hamlet in Kent she called home…
Since establishment in Vicky’s spare room 16 years ago, Broomfield care has expanded into a team of over 30 staff, and has provided support to hundreds of families across Gloucestershire.
We have also recently been awarded ‘Believe in Gloucester’s’ Business of the Year 2024, and boast a 9.8 on Homecare.co.uk, based on over 100 reviews. Broomfield Care is also regulated by the CQC and has been listed as ‘Good’ overall, and ‘Outstanding’ in the ‘caring’ category.

Our Mission
At Broomfield care, our mission is to provide an outstanding, and bespoke service that encourages all our clients to continue living confidently and comfortably at home.
We understand that everyone is different and has different goals when it comes to receiving care. Therefore, we don’t offer off-the-shelf care plans, but rather, focus on creating tailor-made care plans designed around each individual’s needs and wants.
We always aim to work around your existing schedules, so you can continue to live life how you want, with as much or as little guidance from us along the way.
Whether you require personal care, specialist dementia support, or even companionship and social visits, our team of carers are fully trained to support your needs, and we host regular training sessions with our staff, to ensure their knowledge is always up-to-date.
We also always strive to match you with carers that have shared values and interests, so you can build meaningful relationships with our team members.
In addition, we use careline live, to share a variety of information with our clients and their families, so they can keep track of their progress during their care journey. With careline live, you can view your care plan, upcoming visits, and any notes made by visiting carers.
In addition, our management team regularly keep an eye on the status of visits, so that any concerns or issues flagged are dealt with as soon as possible.
