Thank you to everyone who attended our training session on first-aid and CPR! ⛑️
We hope everyone found the session engaging and informative! And, of course, we want to give a special thank you to Kim from K2 Training for being a wonderful host!
At Broomfield Care, we are regularly attending to vulnerable individuals or those with long-term health conditions, so, there’s always a chance that our carers could walk into a situation that requires them to administer first aid. From putting on plasters, all the way up to doing CPR, we felt it was imperative that our staff were fully first-aid trained so our clients know they are safe with us around and we’re always there to help. 😊

🦸♀️ Here’s what our Training and Development Manager Jess had to say about the session:
“On Tuesday we enjoyed a face to face training session on First Aid Awareness. It was really informative and engaging and was lovely to see full staff participation in this.
Having a refresher on CPR training was really interesting and being able to experience this on a manikin and realising just how hard it is do this continuously for however long is required. Also, putting on a defib was fascinating, how easy it was to do, and how the defib literally does it all for you! I would imagine most people think that a defib can be quite frightening but after that training, I think everyone would agree with how easy it was!”
