As we near the end of the first quarter of 2026, we figured it was a great idea to write up a quick blog, introducing all of the new staff members that have joined the Broomfield Care team so far! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️
January ❄️
In January, we had two new starters – coincidentally both named Sue!
Sue N joined our team, as a support worker, at the start of the year, and has settled in well so far!
Also, Sue M joined our office team as our Finance and Compliance Administrator.
Sue is responsible for a variety of tasks, and looks at a lot of data in relation to staff performance and compliance, such as progress on eLearning, who is due a spot check and what supervision or probation meetings are required.
You might also get to hear Sue over the phone as she is also available to answer general enquiries, and will be doing the rounds asking staff and clients for feedback to see what we’re doing right, and what needs improving!

In February, we had two new support workers join the team- Daniela and Belle. Here’s what they had to say about joining the Broomfield Care Team…
“My name is Daniela. I am a compassionate and dedicated care/support worker with 8 years of experience in providing high quality, person-centred support to elderly individuals. I am skilled in providing personal care, medication management and mobility support, with a strong focus on prompting  independence and dignity.
Broomfield care is a great company with a lovely bunch of people- everyone is so welcoming, caring and supportive.Â
In my own time I like reading, exercising and spending time with my family and friends.“
“My name is Gabrielle, although most people know me as Belle. I have over seven years of experience working in care, the majority of which I spent as a Team Leader in a care home. During this time, I also gained valuable experience working within the community.
I am currently halfway through my nursing degree, which has provided me with additional clinical knowledge and hands-on experience that I bring into my role. I’m still quite new to Broomfield, but I already think it’s such a lovely place to work. I’m truly delighted to be part of the team and really enjoy getting to know all of our clients.“
