Charlotte was nominated by Vicky and Jess for setting a great example to our fellow carers, and for encouraging our clients to continue living confidently.
We received a positive message from Jess, saying that a service user was ‘really singing Charlotte’s praises. For example, the client would always ask the carers to support her with taking her dressing gown off whereas Charlotte encouraged her to try and do this herself and it was something that she never does, but now removes her dressing gown every morning by herself.”
The client said, “Charlotte knows me so well and helps me and encourages me to complete this simple tasks which I don’t think I’m able to do.”
Therefore, we’ve chosen Charlotte as our extra mile award winner for March, for showcasing our Broomfield Care values, and encouraging our clients to continue living confidently and independently!
⬆️ As part of her award, Charlotte was gifted some relish, as she’s started doing a bit more cooking lately(!)
