Our first winner is Abbie for going above and beyond during the heatwave in June…
Abbie has been chosen to commend the outstanding support she provided after a client had a fall, even staying for an extra 2 hours to support the client alongside their family. A family member told us the next day that Abbie went ‘over and above and they really appreciated her help – she did really well in a stressful circumstance! What a superstar!’ She also made sure the client was in bed and all personal care was completed before leaving, so the family didn’t have to stress about this too.
We think this is a great example of going the extra mile, and so, we’ve named Abbie as one of our June award winners!
